Companies, as well as individuals that are connected to the world of gaming, have talked about the future of 3D gaming for a couple of years. Some companies made bold claims about releasing 3D engines that would eliminate the need for polygons, and that would be the next step for the gaming world. 3D graphics aren’t as far from the reality as some might think, but it’s still too early to claim that they are the next big thing. Some basic 3D graphics exist at the moment, but they are still far from the quality that polygons bring.

The evolution of polygons
One of the most significant advantages of polygons is the way they improve the graphics of any game. Their development follows the resolution increase. Whenever a new resolution hits the market, the number of polygons, which developers can utilize in their creations, increases. This means that the polygon rendering allows game creators to make games that look as best as they ever could.
All game creators compete to release games with best possible graphics they can. Graphics can’t carry the game alone, but they are an essential part of the same. This is why big game studios would rather stick with polygons and create excellent graphics than to risk with 3D technology which is far from perfect.
Possible alternatives to polygon rendering
The most significant obstacle to introducing a new technology for rendering is the lack of interest from big game creators. Techs that will break in will have to offer better graphics than polygons do. They will also have to work with current technology that is optimized for rasterizing polygons.
One of the contenders is the antialiased micropolygon rendering. The only way it can replace traditional rasterization is for GPU power to outgrow the density of pixel. This, however, is not likely to happen as technology demands high resolutions through the advancement of VR and 4K.
Several other alternatives exist in the form of voxel rendering and raytracing. These approaches work well in particular cases in which they outperform polygon rendering. But they don’t have enough flexibility to replace the polygons in the whole game creation process. In other words, the technology level at which we are at the moment is still too simple to render film quality graphics.
The future of gaming graphics is still unknown
Chrome is known as the best browser you can use at the moment due to its speed. It has many features that will improve the way you browse the internet. It does take a lot of RAM to run it, but the result is superior to any other browser.
I am one of those people that use Chrome because it makes it easy to find documents I want. I pair it with Google search engine, as these two work in perfect synchronization. I also like Chrome because it allows an individual to experiment with adding various features or changing the existing ones. This diversity makes it possible to personalize the Chrome. This is why many people prefer it over other browsers; even though they need less RAM to run.
Experimental features you might want to try
Chrome offers many experimental features you can try out. Some of those will become standard options in the future, while some won’t. It’s up to you which one you will try. I found that it’s best to try all of them and then decide which one to keep and which to discard.
You can change the location of Chrome tabs from top to side in all versions of Windows. It is one of the first features that Chrome offered, and it is still one of the favorite things. Setting it up is quite simple. You only need to open the feature list and enable the side tabs. You can try it out and discard it. If you find it to your liking, then you can accept it so it will stay like it in the future.
If you are to check for this option in Chrome, then you will realize that it doesn’t exist. Standard Chrome doesn’t give you the opportunity to check the print preview. However, you can enable it in Chrome labs. The feature you add will allow you to see how the page will look once you print it. This is an important thing as you will see once you try it.
-Grouping tabs by context
This is a feature that isn’t as useful to many people as it is to bloggers and other individuals who work from home. If you are like me, then you will have to open several windows that will contain many tabs. This makes it hard to sort out those tabs. Grouping them by context or by the source is impossible if you don’t use the feature that Chrome labs offer.
The future of the Chrome
Many prominent people think that the Chrome will lose its influence due to the rise of other browsers. I don’t believe that this will happen. Chrome is well-known for its labs where hundreds of features get available to anyone who wants to experiment with them. Those features allow individuals to change the Chrome and make it look like nothing you ever have seen before. And this is why it will stay the primary choice when it comes to browsers.
It’s safe to say that education is one of the aspects of the life that didn’t change a lot. Many other areas of life changed drastically due to the innovations and products that improved all aspects of the same. Education, however, falls behind when it comes to the introduction of new technology in the whole process of teaching children.
Education has always struggled to keep up with other industries, but last several years have brought some small changes. Whether these changes will have a positive effect on the education remains to be seen. I believe that it will, but my opinion isn’t relevant.
A new way to teach children
Interactive displays came a long way, and they are used in many industries. Huge screens that accept multi-input methods are excellent for education, and some schools are already introducing them into their teaching curriculums.
Schools that look toward the more advanced way to teach children have chosen interactive flat panels as a means of progress. This is a smart move as those flat panels bring a whole new level of interaction and advancement when it comes to teaching. Flat panels come with excellent longevity, brightness, and resolution, and they don’t require replacement lamps. All latest models come with onboard computers with OPS slots which negates the need for external devices.
This tech also allows video conferencing. It, in some cases, can benefit the education. The video conferencing capabilities can run at the same time with all other features and that allows the school to invite guest teachers to teach students even though they are thousands of miles away. It also allows students to listen to lectures even though they can’t attend them.
4K resolution – The solution for outdated education
The biggest problem with interactive flat panels that schools are trying to introduce is the low resolution (2K). It works well on small displays, but it doesn’t function on flat panels that schools have to use. The introduction of 4K resolution changed this. The double amount of pixels allows for more precise input and more definite response from the display.
Another issue that the education, in general, is facing is the funding. Huge 4K flat panels cost a lot of money, and public schools don’t have funding to purchase several of those displays. But the technology advanced at a frightening pace which means that the cost of products with 4K resolution will go down and schools will be able to purchase them in the near future.
Shell is a well-known petrol station company that has stations all over the world. They are known as a reliable source of all kinds of fuel. They are also the first enterprise of its kind to embrace the idea of electric vehicles.
Shell realized that an increasing number of electric vehicles would hurt their business in the long run as there will be fewer petrol cars. And they also realized that the need for electric charging stations would increase. This is why they chose to enter the electric charging industry.

Shell chose to cooperate with Ionity which is a company that has the backing of many large carmakers. Ionity provides locations for charging electric vehicles all across the world, and this deal with Shell will only increase their presence on the market. The agreement includes eighty big Shell stations. They will get upgrades that will allow them to charge electric vehicles.
Everything started with Ionity being formed by BMW, Porsche, and several other prominent carmakers. They decided to create a network of chargers (350kW) all across Europe. The “conglomerate” also joined forces with several prominent companies to place chargers at their petrol stations. Shell also accepted to become the part of this venture with 80 of their stations. They left the possibility of increasing the number of stations that will have electric chargers shortly.
Will this venture succeed?
Now, everyone wonders whether this venture will succeed or fail. My strong belief is that this will be the start of the much-larger network that will cover Europe in the beginning, and the world in the end.
My confidence comes from that fact that the majority of electric cars at the moment can get a full charge at one of those stations in less than ten minutes. Even the long-range vehicles from Tesla don’t need more than a half an hour to recharge their batteries (in their case it means more than 200 miles).
Shell will probably increase the number of the stations that have these chargers in the future. Other oil companies will also follow them because the future of the automotive industry lies in electric energy. Any company that fails to realize that will meet its end in twenty or thirty years. Shell foresaw that, and they are working on transferring their source of income from petrol to electricity.
