“Just a short message of thanks to Chris Boys and his team, for his understanding and solving of my predicament a few days ago. The service and help I received was absolutely excellent.
Briefly, I have a 993 C2 which has been serviced and generally looked after by you for my 3 years of ownership, and last week I decided to sell her as I plan to upgrade hopefully to a 993 turbo. Anyway, I found a buyer very quickly, but within 24 hours of new ownership, unfortunately the clutch started slipping. Even though it was unpredictable, and could happen at any time, I felt really sorry for the new owner, and offered to help with getting it fixed and also contributing to the cost. Discovering that you were taking bookings for 2 weeks ahead, I explained my embarrassing predicament to Chris Boys hoping he could get it looked at perhaps a bit sooner, and to cut a long story short, the car was brought to you later that same day, and the clutch, flywheel etc., was replaced by the end of the following day, so that the new owner could enjoy his new car by the weekend.
So thanks again for your superb service, and also the diplomacy demonstrated when speaking to the new owner by Chris, and also Andy the mechanic who worked on her, it was much appreciated.”

I have never before come across such high standards of customer service, expert/proactive advice and helpfulness. Your workmanship and standards are higher than that of any main dealer I have used yet the labour rates are considerably less and I was always left feeling confident in the advice given based on the thoroughness of your diagnosis and explanations, rather than concerned that I may be being misled, which is always a concern for non mechanically minded people like myself.
Unfortunately I am having to sell the car due to increased business mileage but I will continue to highly recommend JZ to everyone I know who has a Porsche or is thinking of buying one. If I am lucky enough to own one again in the future, there is no question of where it will be maintained.

Steve & co. diagnosed and sorted out a major problem shortly after I bought my car - at the service and clutch/flywheel job when I bought it the dealer 'forgot' to fit the spigot bearing!!! OPC then failed to spot this when they inspected it! (idiots!) Only wish I'd got JZ to do the inspection and the work before I'd bought it. They've done a number of tweaks and upgrades inc K400, brakes, setup etc. - feels like a totally different car now!
JZ give me absolute confidence when they work on the car. They are honest, expert, and professional. Steve and his team are top flight, and I really like the way you can talk ABOUT the work to the people who actually DO the work. Service is always first class.”
“JZM lowered a Boxster for me a few years ago using Roock Racing stuff as they were the UK agent but other than that no other contact, before I even bought my GT3 Steve spent best part of an hour on the phone with me telling me its life story knowing full well that I may not even buy the car and lived very close to Parr for servicing if I did.
Well I did buy the car, and have had several lengthy calls to Steve regarding suspension set up and I have to say time was never an issue and if it was Steve always called me back. It is so rare to actually get good service these days that I endured? The M25 slog round to the M1 and had them service the car for me and reset the Geometry, car is now perfect and as said previously anyone who knows any thing about GT3 servicing will know there are only about 3 places to take the cars anyway.

“I would wholeheartedly endorse what you say. I have Always found everyone at JZ to be very helpful. In a world where good customer Service is hard to come by, to find exceptional customer service like this is a real pleasure.
Rather than using my list of issues as an excuse to just replace everything in sight and hand me a bill (which is pretty much what I was expecting), I just got off the phone having talked for around 20-25 minutes with Jonas, where he discussed my list of issues, one by one, in detail, plus a couple of other things they picked up themselves doing the service and MOT. Around half the points were basically advisory, and he suggested deferring until the next service, when XXX would probably need doing as well, and it should save money to do them both at the same time... etc.. etc.., along with "keep an eye on this and that - it will need work in due course", rather than simply suggesting it should be done right now (which I would have in all probability gone along with....)
What a refreshing change that was!
I know very much more than before about the real condition of my car, and I was very impressed with his depth of knowledge of the type. But most of all I was impressed by the time he took with me; his openness, and the way he seems so concerned to save ME money (not that the visit will be cheap as it is - it won't). I really do feel that I (for perhaps the first time) got value for money from my service.

“Hi I would just like to thank the person that kindly gave me technical help yesterday unfortunately I didn't get his name but his advice was spot on. The problem lay with the Dual action micro switch it closed the first contact to operate the roof but not the second to operate the windows. I am mystified as to how the fault occurred as there seems to be no adjustment on the switch or latch I had to space up the switch to operate the switch.”
“I have had lots of stuff done by JZ including geometry. They are exceptional people to deal with and are spot on in their knowledge and mechanical know-how. They are also spot on in customer care and that is as important I recon. Recently I had a service, new clutch, and flywheel, a manifold repair (don't forget to dip your clutch if you spin otherwise you will have one too!!) and a crankshaft balance weight thingamabob. There was some delay in getting parts which they kept me fully informed about, but everything they did was first class. If here is anyone out there better to tend a GT 3 they must be bloody brilliant.”

“Just a short line to say many thanks for fitting my new wheels to my car, may I say that your staff their were very accommodating, quick and professional. Please pass on my thanks to the fitters as well, as I felt that they took more care then other garages do in checking correct air pressure and tightness on wheel nuts. Its been 8 years since my last Porsche was serviced by you and I believe my new one will be looked after/serviced with the same professionalism as I have just experienced. “Just a couple of quick things - had my first trackday on Saturday and the car performed fantastically. Wanted to send my thanks to you, Steve and the rest of your team for doing such a great job on the overhaul and associated repairs. There wasn't a squeak, a rattle, smoke or any other funnies even when I was chasing GT3s down the back straight - during the whole day it didn't even burn any oil. There were quite a few surprised faces that a 13 year old car had such moves - so in turn thank you for your excellent work.”
