All our Technicians have their preferred models and specialist knowledge in that field. They strive to improve every day, to improve customer service and to improve their technical abilities. 

Our proudest business achievement was to be awarded the position of ‘Highly Recommended’ in the annual RMI Independent Garage Award’s in 2001 and 2002.

And it would be less than honest if we were to say we didn’t feel proud when we opened our second workshop in 2003, which was fitted with all the latest hi-tech equipment.

Apprentices

JZ Machtech believes in investing in the future. It has embarked on an ambitious training programme to ensure it continues to have available the very highest level of technical skills possible. The apprentices serve a five year apprenticeship with JZM which incorporates a three year college course, gaining NVQ Motor Mechanics qualifications. Each apprentice is assigned to work alongside an experienced technician and are rotated within both workshops to gain maximum knowledge and skills with all models of Porsche and their relevant service schedules. An 18 month period must be satisfactorily completed before they are allowed to work without direct supervision. All our apprentices were chosen by us or selected by their college to join our team.
