A Member of the Institute of the Motor Industry, Certificated Automotive Engineer and Bosch systems technician Steve includes a successful spell as a professional racing driver with over 20 years experience of tuning and servicing Porsche cars.

1973 - Started as a Volkswagen specialist, before moving into Porsche parts.

1983 - Opened Machtech, specializing in Porsche, Bosch petrol injection and tuning.

1982-87 - Class winner for three years in the Willhire 24 hour race at Snetterton. Also second and fourth overall and Commanders Cup winner.

1999 - Formed JZM with Jonas Zambakides of JZ Autocare.
 
2003 - By this time we had outgrown unit 4, so the decision was taken to opened a new state of the art workshop at 11 Langley Wharf.  

2003 - JZM became UK agent for the world renowned Porsche tuner Manthey Motors based at the Nürburgring.

Steve is a great believer in training, and keeping up-to-date with the latest technical advances. It is his personal goal to constantly achieve the highest possible standard of work, and a level of technical excellence that will withstand the closest scrutiny.

 

2009 - Steve and his partner Jonas have expanded JZ Machtech with the addition of JZM Ltd which now forms our Porsche used sales division in Unit 1, Langley Wharf.
